Grandma Dorothy with her siblings and her mother. Grandma Dorothy is the second on the left. When her father died, most of the siblings were sent to an orphanage but Grandma Dorothy lived with an aunt. The brother next to her was actually adopted by another family.

As mentioned recently ... I'm tired of being overweight. I also seem to have an uncontrollable need to purchase FAD exercise equipment.

Stay tuned for Infinity Hoop and Rowing Machine progress.

I have been rowing almost daily on my rowing machine since I got it and I have noticed improvement in my arms, shoulders, and legs but nothing for my mid-section. Hopefully the Infinity Hoop will do what it advertises it will do!

I've been experiencing a bit of eye fatigue ... computer work all day ... iPhone ... and Kindle use are taking a toll. These cooling eye drops are AMAZING!

I highly recommend them.

This sauce is really good ... on eggs, in soup ... and I'm sure many other things.

Recently, my daughter purchased a new Kindle case that stands up ... hands free if you will. What a concept ... I ordered on for myself and I LOVE IT!!

Retirement

Anyone who knows me ... knows that I want to retire ... sooner rather than later.

As I was sitting in my sewing room it occurred to me ... this is what my retirement will probably look like ...

This pass weekend I was able to get the binding on this cute little quilt.

I haven't spent a lot of time in my sewing room this summer. I've sort of been in a sewing slump this entire year actually. Anyway, this slump has left me with 5 quilts ready for binding.

This past weekend I was able to get this quilt and one other bound.

Technical Difficulties

 Technical Difficulties ...

My life story, as much as I want to be brave and be tech savvy ... that is not always the case. Honestly, that is usually never the case.

A couple of weeks ago I wanted to get my sewing room media back up and running. I had been streaming on my laptop but had a large monitor screen in the bottom of my closet. The reason it was in the bottom of my closet is because when I moved my sewing room I couldn't figure out how to hook it up again!

Streaming on my laptop ... it worked but I wanted more ... bigger ...

So I sent a S.O.S. text to my West Coast Affiliated IT Department ... a.k.a. my son who lives in California

Ba Da Bing Ba Da Boom

A couple of hours later my sewing room media is BACK!
