First and foremost, Momma and baby boy are both doing great!

My first grandson has arrived! Born at 9:19 on 09/19, healthy and handsome.

I am so grateful and so blessed with the arrival of this beautiful baby boy.

Blessed beyond measure!

My heart is so full, as I sit here trying to write this post I struggle to find the words to express the joy of this precious life. I will say it is so amazing to have the blessing of watching my child become a mother. Watching her hold and love her child is truly a feeling of completeness as a mother that I never realized was even possible. I simply do not have words to express the joy and happiness that I am feeling.

I just feel so honored and so blessed! Excited for the blessing of getting to watch this little guy grow and the opportunity to love him.

Baby Quilts for My Grandsons

In March of this year while in Florida, the parents of my grandsons went with me to a quilt shop and picked the fabrics for the baby quilts.

I decided on the same quilt pattern for both of the quilts. The pattern is by Woolly Petals, and is FREE on her website, Wash Your Paws 

My son and his wife chose a galaxy themed fabric bundle, I found this cute panel to make the backing.

I had the best time creating these quilts for my grandsons.

My daughter picked a mid modern print with lots of cheerful motifs and coordinating tone on tone solids and I was able to find a print with pixelated 1990's motifs for the backing.

There are even a few dinosaurs scattered throughout.

We are back on the lanes! Social bowling league has begun! And, the Lucky Strikes are back together with a few new faces.

Our first night, we won by 30 pens!
