Another Hedgehog
This one is a bit more colorful than the Red/White Hedgehog quilt I made many moons ago. Also the block size is smaller. I made the large block size this time instead of the gigantic block size. And WOW ... all of the colors!
I love all textile mediums, I began this journey as a quilter. The art of quilting taught to me by my beautiful Grandmother, Dorothy. She also taught me how to crochet and I have since learned how to knit.

It's Been A Week!
Nothing serious ... I'm ready for Fall, for cooler temperatures and shorter days. I'm tired of the heat and the humidity. UGH!!
I'm ready for fire pit time, sweaters, and all of the holidays ... Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years!
Time
Apparently I've been making scrap quilts much longer than I realized.
Sewing My Stash Scrap Quilt OG (original ... the real beginning)
Possibilities
Fabric crayons ... all of the colors ... all of the possibilities! For me, there is so much joy in rummaging through my fabric stash. Considering old and new patterns ... and starting a new quilting project.
Backings
I'm on a roll ... there have been some great fabric sales going on lately!
Easy Patchwork Quilt A Long
Backings
I'm always on the lookout for clearance fabric sales mostly for yardage for backings for my completed quilt tops. It is rare that I spend more than $5.00 a yard for backing fabric yardage. I'm not saying that I haven't spent more but as a rule of thumb I try to keep cost down when choosing yardage for backing fabrics.
The search for backing fabrics is made a bit more difficult by the added rule of keeping cost down and my need to stick with the theme of the quilt top, but I love the challenge!

Legendary
Pattern by, Elizabeth Hartman
I purchased this pattern as a kit which included all of the fabrics need to complete the quilt top. I'm presently on the hunt for the perfect backing fabric.
I started working on this quilt back in April.
Puttering
The in-between ... puttering ... that place where you are just puttering around in your sewing because you don't know what to start ... or to finish ... next.

I have the most wonderful longarm machine quilter!
Her name is Sharon and I am never ever disappointed with her work. Sharon is the one who takes my quilts to the next level! Not only is Sharon a wonderful quilter, she is also my friend. It is a win win!
These 3 quilts are presently at Sharon's for machine quilting ...
